Our Indie-GoGo Fundraiser Campaign has only been up and running for about 20 hours and we have already raised over 1/6th our goal. $550 So far! ( Isn't that AMAZING!)

As of right now there are several places that you can stumble upon us while prancing across the internet. It's late at night, we are all doin' it.

Here at SuperForest, we’ve had the distinct pleasure of raising awareness and funds for some pretty incredible organizations. Today, I direct your attention towards taking similar action. But this time, rather than letting you know about something really cool, I’d like to introduce you to someone that is really cool. So cool, in fact, that his awesomeness has made cameos on our site before. I’m talking, of course, about Scott Cassidy. A dear friend who’s most recent adventures have led him to the creation of a band, “Me & Mr. Cassidy”. As a part of this creation, “Me and Mr. Cassidy” has launched a campaign to help raise funds for the creation of a new album and have just over a month to try and gather $3,000.

Our Story

Me & Mr.Cassidy is an indie duo with roots in pop, folk, and jazz. Comprised of Scott Cassidy & Hope Leigh the charming group fills your ears with warm romantic tunes & stories galore. We met in October of 2010 and have been on a fast paced adventure ever since. We are currently working on a concept album in which all of the songs go in the chronological order of a genuine love story. The ups and downs and shifts in music mimic the emotional ups and downs these two take. We are so very excited to be a part of something so new and exciting!

The Impact

At this point, we have done everything in our power to establish ourselves as musicians. we have created a set of tunes that we love, and that our audiences have fallen in love with as well. We want to be able to continue to share this music by recording it and compiling the songs into a full length record. Without the help of our supporters financially, unfortunately, none of this can happen.

What We Need & What You Get

We need $3000 total to cover all of our expenses. The things that we are still in need of paying for are quite simple.

1) Flights to to travel to Charlotte North Carolina ( We are recording at the Bear Cave Studios with Justin Huey)

2) Actual Studio fees ( This covers recording & added instrumentation)

3) Mixing and Mastering ( This is done in a seperate studio and balances the music & makes sure it plays evenly in any musical player you'd like i.e. ipod vs. car etc)

4) Actual production costs. Having the Digital album made into a hard copy version you can take home with you from shows/ order online! Complete with Album Artwork etc. Signed Sealed and delivered if you so wish!
